A hat-trick by winger Natabeni Dukisa saw the GWK Griquas bash the Boland Cavaliers 62-19 (halftime 20-7) in their Vodacom Cup encounte at the Smuts Ground in Velddrif on Saturday afternoon.
The opening two Griquas scores belonged to winger Rocco Jansen and flanker Wendall Wehr with fullback Gouws Prinsloo converting the first try and adding a penalty to make it 15-0.
Outside centre Wilneth Engelbrecht scored a try for the hosts and flyhalf Erica Zana, normally a fullback, added the conversion.
Jansen grabbed his second and the score of 20-7 remained the same until halftime.
