Harrison Goddard extends with Rebels

The Melbourne Rebels have secured the talented Australian U20s halfback Harrison Goddard for two years, signing until the end of 2019.



 
The announcement has capped off a monumental year for Goddard who made his Super Rugby debut against the Waratahs on May 21 and becomes Rebel #113 as a 19-year-old.


 
Goddard’s classy form with the Melbourne Rebels in the Super U20s competition as Vice Captain ensured his selection in the national team to compete in the World Rugby U20s Championships in Georgia.
 
Goddard has impressed for Australia in Georgia with 39 points off the boot and solid performances against Wales, Samoa England and Italy as starting halfback alongside fellow Rebels team mates Jordan Uelese, Sione Tuipulotu, Semisi Tupou and future Rebel Henry Hutchison.
 
Fast earning a reputation for his speed to the breakdown, accurate passing game and pinpoint kicking game the former Australian Schoolboy (2014 & 2015) is earmarked as a player with a huge Super Rugby future.
