Henry Purdy signs new Gloucester deal

Gloucester Rugby are delighted to confirm that versatile back Henry Purdy has agreed a new deal with the club, beginning from the 2017/18 season.

"Henry has gone from strength to strength in a Gloucester shirt, and has been an important part of the squad in the past few seasons. We are excited to keep him at the club and contribute to our future," said Director of Rugby David Humphreys.

"Henry has displayed a real maturity in his performances, and he is part of a really exciting group of young players that will hopefully have a big future in Cherry and White.”

The Oxford-born flyer,  who joined the Cherry and Whites from Leicester Tigers in the summer of 2014, has gone on to become a key part of the squad, impressing greatly in 45 first team appearances to date.
