Heyneke Meyer resigns
Heyneke Meyer has fallen on his sword and resigned as head coach of the Springboks. Meyer, who was appointed in 2012, resigned under serious pressure from the public after a rather uneventful 4 years with the two time World Cup winners.
Many of the fans were furious with his team selections leading up to the 2015 RWC and the much publicised loss to Japan was the last straw.
There is much speculation that ex Stormers coach, Allister Coetzee who is now in Japan, will be appointed the new Bok Coach
