Highlanders lose Siate Tokolahi for remainder of season

The Highlanders' front row stocks have been dealt a blow with first-choice tighthead prop Siate Tokolahi ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.

Tokolahi was ruled out of the past weekend’s clash against the Crusaders after re-injuring his knee, with Guy Millar travelling to Christchurch as his replacement.

"Obviously we would have loved to have had Siate on board, but we're actually pretty well used to working without him," said assistant coach Mark Hammett.

Hammett also confirmed utility back Richard Buckman (hamstring) wouldn't play against the Rebels, while the Highlanders were set to rest some All Blacks.
