Highlights: Italy v Canada - Rugby World Cup 2019

Italy made it two out of two at the Rugby World Cup with a comfortable 48-7 hammering of Canada. Italy started like a house on fire, opening the scoring with an early penalty before running in two tries in quick succession for a 17-0 lead. Canada grew into the game for the second twenty minutes of the first half and had some great opportunities to score, but handling errors and some strong Italian defence kept them at bay as the score remained 17-0 at the break. Italy started the second half as they did the first, with an early try extending their advantage. A penalty try for the Italians followed, with Canada picking up a yellow card in the process. Italy made quick use of their numerical advantage with a try a few minutes later making it 36-0. Canada got on the scoresheet with a try with ten minutes to play, but there was still time for Italy to cross for two more scores to seal an emphatic victory.
