Hogg on fire for Scotland as Argentina crumble

Scotland got back to winning ways after a surprising loss to USA as they destroy a lacklustre Argentina side. Bautista Delguy and Nicolas Sanchez provided the home side with a few sparks but ultimately there were 3 of the visiting players topping the performance list:

Stuart Hogg:

The Glasgow fullback was one of the standout players in a very impressive Scotland backline performance as they cruised to victory against the Pumas in Argentina. He kicked wonderfully out of hand, squeezing every available inch out of his touchfinders, consistently pinning Argentina back inside their own red zone. He looked dangerous with ball in hand, beating several defenders and gaining a total of 53 metres when running with ball in hand and was rock solid in defence.

Adam Hastings:

In what was only his third Scotland cap, the young outhalf put on an absolute masterclass. He showed maturity and class well beyond his years, as he marshalled his backline like a veteran. He knew exactly when to kick for territory and when to press on the gas and really go for the jugular in attack. He showed a wide variety of skills; from deft chips over the top to perfectly measured probing grubber kicks, both of which has the Puma defence constantly on the back foot. Hastings is definitely an exciting prospect for the future of Scottish rugby.

George Horne:

Playing alongside his older brother Peter, the young scrumhalf was outstanding from start to finish and played a key role in everything that was good about the Scottish attack this evening. He showed great awareness to identify space and blistering pace to get himself into good supporting positions, from which he managed to score two tries. He also made some really impressive defensive hits around the fringes and got through a tremendous amount of work at the breakdown.
