How did Cam Roigard score his second try?

24 Year old Cameron Roigard scored two tries in New Zealand's 33-24 win over the Wallabies. His first try came in the 24th minute when he dove over next to the breakdown and his second try came in the 74th minute from a goal line drop out. Lets take a look at how New Zealand managed to spread the Wallabies on defence and the beautiful support line from Roigard.

1.Damian Mckenzie gathers the restart and gives it to Peter Lakai who hits it up from the goal line drop out.

2. A strong carry over the advantage line from Lakai means the next forward pod can get quickly into position. Roigard passes to Newell who plays out the back to McKenzie. Important to note the two support players left and right of Newell who keeps the Wallabies defence close to each other.

3. Mckenzie plays Jordie Barret. Quinn Tupaea comes off the left wing as a support player.

4. A below the hip tackle from Carlo Tizzano means Barrett can get the offload away to Tupaea.

5. Because the gap in defence was too big between Nick Forst and Tizzano, it is difficult for the lock to to catch Tupeae once he received the ball from Barrett.

6. Roigard runs a great support line on the inside to score his second try.

Nothing fancy from the All Blacks. Accurate passes and great running lines was the recipe to this well worked try
