Incredible All Black Stats

We take a dive into some of the stats following the All Blacks impressive 40-12 win over the Wallabies

Record-breaking Beauden Barrett

Beauden Barrett's tally of four tries is the most by an All Black against Australia. He equals the famous haul of Greg Cornelson at Eden Park 40 years ago.

He also breaks Andrew Mehrtens’ record for the most points scored against Australia in a single match. Barrett also became just the 4th All Black to score more than 500 test points after Dan Carter (1598), Andrew Mehrtens (967) and Grant Fox (645)

The Fortress that is Eden Park

The All Blacks are undefeated in their last 42 Tests at Eden Park (W40, D2); their last defeat at the venue came in July 1994 against France.

Jack Goodhue, Jordie Barrett, Damian McKenzie and Anton Liernert-Brown weren't born yet when the All Blacks lost to France in 1994.

Owen Franks

The massive figure of All Blacks tighthead Owen Franks completed his 100th test match in the black jersey today.

Franks now owns the unfortunate record of becoming the first player to play 100 test without scoring a single try.

The All Blacks dominance in the Bledisloe Cup

The All Blacks have retained the Bledisloe Cup once again having held the Cup since 2003.

New Zealand's overall record against Australia is: played 163, won 113, lost 43, drew 7.

Tryline Fever

The All Blacks have now scored more tries than any other test side in 2018. They took their tally to 31 in five test surpassing Scotland who have scored 28 tries in their eight Tests this year.
