Wales Under-20 clinched a dramatic win over Italy Under-20 as fly-half Dan Jones converted a late penalty try.


Renato Giammarioli went over early for the hosts and Matteo Minozzi converted, but tries by Ollie Griffiths and Rhys Williams gave Wales the half-time lead.


Welsh-born prop Dino Dallavalle put Italy back in front.


The Minozzi-Jones kicking duel continued until Jones converted the penalty try awarded after repeated Italian scrum infringements.
