Italy v Australia Highlights

Australia notched up their first win in the November Internationals as they claimed a hard fought 26-7 win over Italy. The first half was a tight affair, with two tries for Australia in the final ten minutes seeing the visitors take a 14-0 lead into the halftime break.

The Wallabies got off to the perfect start in the second half, crossing for their third try to take control of the match at 21-0. However, Italy hit back immediately with their first try to reduce the deficit back to 14 points. Australia picked up a yellow card heading into the final quarter, but try as they might Italy could not capitalize on their numerical advantage, kept out by some solid Australian defence.

The Wallabies would run in a late fourth try to seal the victory, taking some momentum into their titanic clash with England in a weeks time.
