James Lang signs new Harlequins contract

Scotland international James Lang has re-signed for Harlequins, the Club has today announced.

Lang, 23, who is comfortable at Centre or Fly-half, with most of his appearances coming at Fly-half this season, made his debut for the Club in 2016 and has since gone on to appear 39 times for Harlequins, scoring 133 points.

He was the Club's second highest points scorer last season after which he earned his first call-up to Gregor Townsend’s Scotland squad for their tour of North America.

Lang said: “We are building a winning ethos at Harlequins and I am really proud to be a part of that.  The Club’s heritage has always been about playing fast, exciting rugby and always with that sense of adventure.

“Gussy has arrived at the Club this season and brought with him a work ethic and a sense of fun which we know is going to reap rewards very soon in the form of trophies. It is an exciting time and I am thrilled to be a part of it."
