JP Pietersen on Julian Savea

JP Pietersen has hailed the threat of New Zealand's Julian Savea ahead of South Africa's quarter-final.

“He is playing very good rugby, scored eight tries in three or four games, he’s in great form.

"He’s a player I always enjoy watching and a difficult customer. It will be a hard challenge but you live for challenges and for moments like this.

"Come Saturday, I will bring my best and he will bring his best.”

Asked about the comparisons between Savea and legend Jonah Lomu, the Springbok veteran suggested that Lomu's achievements were unparalleled.

“I don’t think in today’s world... to compare to Jonah Lomu. He did something to the game that no one else could have done; he changed the game.”
