Laure Sansus out of the World Cup following knee injury
Laure Sansus has suffered a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of the knee and has been ruled out for the rest of the World Cup. She has been replaced in the group by Marie Dupouy.

Best player of the Six Nations Tournament 2022 and champion of France Elite 1 2022 with her club, Sansus had announced before the competition that she wanted to stop her career as a rugby player.

Laure Sansus: "You never choose your way out and my situation is a perfect example. Of course, I would have preferred to end my career differently. Only, if the World Cup stopped for me this Saturday, it continues for Group France. If I can't fight on the field with my girlfriends, I will show the same determination by pushing behind them in the stands. I will be their first supporter! I wish the girls to end the adventure with a smile on the evening of November 12."
