Lealiifano will impress for Barbarians
Christian Lealiifano has been backed by Barbarians coach Jamie Joseph to put in a top performance against Samoa this weekend.
The Baabaas face Samoa for the first time in their history and will also achieve another landmark when they play the first match at the Olympic Stadium in London.
Lealiifano missed out on the Wallabies’ World Cup squad, with Australia opting to take Matt Giteau and Matt Toomua ahead of him.
"Christian is a quality player, I think the Wallabies are well aware of his abilities too,' Joseph told the Press Association.
"But it never hurts to show what you can do in the international arena.
"You never know when injuries can strike either, so whilst he hasn't been selected initially, stranger things have happened than him being drafted back in. So I'm sure he knows just how important it will be to have a strong game, and I know that he will be ready.
