Leicester Tigers to face Gloucester Rugby
- 292
Jack van Poortvliet returns as the only change to the Tigers lineup for the fixture against Gloucester Rugby in the Slater Cup tomorrow afternoon.
The scrum-half made his return from the Guinness Six Nations last week as he came off the bench against Bristol Bears but partners Billy Searle in the starting half-backs for the Slater Cup fixture.
Hamish Watson also starts once again having impressed last weekend in his first club appearance in 16 years as part of an unchanged forward pack.
There are two returns from injury among the replacements, as Adam Radwan and Harry Wells return to the squad in place of Osian Thomas and Izaia Perese.
Tigers Head Coach Geoff Parling said: “Saturday is another chance for us to show what playing in this group means and another chance to keep growing our game."
"I’m sure it’ll be an exciting occasion at Villa Park and we look forward to seeing Ed (Slater) and know how much this game means to himself, Moodos (Lewis Moody) and the whole MND community."
