Leinster have named a youthful side for their PRO12 season opener against Treviso with 3 uncapped players on the bench. 

Joey Carbery is set to make his 1st start in a Leinster shirt as he slots in at 10 and Luke McGrath will captain the side for just the 2nd time.

We take a look at the 3 youngsters who hope to make their debut tomorrow night.

Andrew Porter


An Ireland u20 representive at the Junior World Cup, the loosehead prop is a wrecking ball and a very useful player around the pitch.

Registered with UCD RFC, Porter has got a very bright future ahead of him and has already drawn comparisions with the likes of fellow Leinster man Cian Healy.


A great option of the bench and his dynamic rugby style will suit Leinster down to ground.

Jamison Gibson-Park

The 24 year old has joined Leinster for the 2015/16 season and will be looking to impress of the bench oh debut.

Gibson-Park was a member of Hurricanes' Super Rugby squad last season, featuring 13 times for the NZ side. A decisive runner, Gibson-Park strengths also include his ability to spot a gap and eye for putting fellow teammates into space.

Will offer something different to Leinster and will be looking to make that 9 spot his own during the season.

Rory O'Loughlin

The St Michaels attendee is relativly unknown but is working his way through the ranks at the province.

Featuring for Old Belvedere RFC, O'Loughlin is going into his 3rd year with the Leinster academy and will be hoping to make a breakthrough.

O'Loughlin is an outside centre who can fill in at 12 and also the wing, providing good squad depth for Leo Cullen's side.
