Leinster injury update ahead of Scarlets

Leinster's medics have provided an update on the fitness of Sean O'Brien ahead of this weekend's Champions Cup semi-final, the Carlow-flanker ‘will be further assessed’ after reporting some soreness in his shoulder on Saturday.

Luke McGrath also remains a doubt for the fixture: “Seanie will push hard, similarly Luke McGrath, but we’ll make those decisions in the next 24 hours,'' Stuart Lancaster told media today at Leinster HQ.

Robbie Henshaw took part in last Friday's captain's run and also completed the pre-match warm up with the squad before Saturday's home defeat to Benetton at the RDS. He will return to full training this week and is in contention for selection this weekend.

Jack Conan is set to resume full training following a MCL knee injury and will provide Jordi Murphy & Max Deegan with competition for the No.8 shirt.
