Lions announce 2018 Currie Cup coaching structure

Lions Rugby have announced their Currie Cup Structure for 2018.

Ivan van Rooyen has been appointed the 2018 Head Coach and their Performance Excellence Manager.

Swys de Bruin, who coached the Lions to this year’s Super Rugby final, will not be involved with the union’s Currie Cup team on a full-time basis due to his commitments at the Springboks.

Van Rooyen will be assisted by Philip Lemmer (Forwards Coach), Joey Mongalo (Defence Coach) and Neil de Bruin (Attack Coach) with input and consultation from Swys de Bruin whom is on National Duty.
