Los Pumas ace linked with Bath

Former World Rugby Breakthrough Player of the Year, Emiliano Boffelli has been linked with Premiership club Bath with Jaguares' players being urged to sign contracts abroad with no Super Rugby return in sight for the Argentines.

Boffelli has quickly become a regular in the Argentina test side since making his test debut back in 2017 against England racking up 28 test caps and seven tries.

According to the Rugby Paper, the versatile back who can play fullback, centre and wing has drawn the interest of Bath who are looking to sign a full-back after the departure of Tom Homer to London Irish.

Boffelli was in the running for the World Rugby Breakthrough Player of the Year in 2017 and helped the Jaguares reach the Super Rugby final last year.

Bath won't be unopposed in the race for Boffelli's signature with Racing 92 having been linked with the Los Pumas' star signature over the past few weeks.

Bath have been relatively quiet with new signings with just Juan Schoeman, Will Spencer and Ben Spencer joining the side and Gabriel Hamer-Webb being promoted from the Academy.
