Louw fit to return in six weeks


South Africa are optimistic Francois Louw will be fit in time for the November internationals after he underwent surgery on Monday.



Louw needed surgery on a pinched nerve in his neck and South Africa doctor Craig Roberts is hopeful he will be back in six weeks.

Roberts said: "Francois initially took a knock to his head, and the scans showed damage to a nerve in his neck.



"He has had surgery today on the disc and that should relieve the pressure.

He may be ready for the November Tests at the end of the year.
