Manu Tuilagi Linked With Top 14 Switch

Powerful England centre Manu Tuilagi comes off contract at the end of the season and speculation of a switch from the Premiership to the Top 14 has been doing the rounds in the French media this week after the England midfielder was spotted at Racing 92's training grounds on Monday, according to L’Equipe.

Tuilagi has enjoyed a stellar return to the test arena after a testing struggle with injuries over the past few years. A move across the Channel would make Tuilagi ineligible for further international selection after the World Cup.

It's understood that Leicester Tigers are interested in keeping Tuilagi at the club after the World Cup while Racing's pursuit for the midfielder's signature will not go unchallenged with fellow Top 14 sides Lyon and Toulon interested.

Tuilagi made his professional debut with Leicester in 2010 and has amassed more than 140 appearances for the club.

If Tuilagi decides to leave the Tigers, the club will need to replace what is arguably their first choice midfield with Matt Toomua leaving the club to return to Australia.
