Waikato dominated today. Scoring 8 tries to 3. Bay of Plenty will be kicking themselves after giving away 19 penalties. Waikato were able to turn those penalties into points. Waikato were rampant and scored some special tries. Tucker was particularly impressive and Smith controlled the game. Bay of Plenty will have to fix it and fast as they host Manawatu and another loss will see them really struggle make something of this season. Waikato host a struggling Southland and will be looking for full points and cement that top spot.
