Mourad Boudjellal to sell RC Toulon

Mourad Boudjellal to sell RC Toulon

Mourad Boudjellal wants to sell RC Toulon by 2019 and mandated Didier Poulmaire to find a buyer according to information from French economic magazine Challenges.

This is not the first time Boudjellal has looked to sell the club but this time it looks as if a deal will be made by 2019.

Boudjellal has owned RC Toulon since May 2006 and has mandated Business lawyer Didier Poulmaire to find a buyer. Poulmaire notably initiated the acquisition of football club Olympique Marseille by Franck McCourt whom he had known for several years.

"We want to bring in an investor who can develop the RCT brand and build a visionary project for the club" confirmed the businessman to the economic weekly.

Boudjellal took over Toulon over 10 years ago and has taken Toulon from the PRO D2 to winning the European Cup three times.
