Munster in talks with former England coach Rowntree - reports

Former England forwards coach Graham Rowntree has been linked with a coaching role at Munster next season having visited Limerick this week to meet with the province.

According to a report by Murray Kinsella at The42, Munster is keen to add three coaches to Johann van Graan's coaching team for next season with Rowntree tipped to head up the forwards.

The 48-year-old former England and Lions prop Rowntree has an impressive coaching CV having worked with the likes of Leicester Tigers, England, the British and Irish Lions (on consecutive tours) and is currently working with Georgia.

Rowntree's contract with Georgia expires after the Rugby World Cup in Japan with JP Ferreira the only other confirmed Munster coach, besides Johann van Graan, ahead of next season.

Backline coach Felix Jones and forwards coach Jerry Flannery have announced that they would leave the province at the end of this season while the Province is reportedly in talks with Rob Howley.
