Northland vs Auckland - Mitre 10 Cup Highlights

After what promised to be a tight, classic derby. The contest end up with a dominant Auckland win. After a good opening 20 mins by both teams, Northland ended up going into halftime with a deserved lead. However Auckland scored early in the second half and from there dominated the rest of the match. Taking the game away from Northland with some well worked, clinical tries. Rene Ranger tried, but ultimately the task was just to great. Northland will be very disappointed with that second half performance and will have to work hard to improve things next week.
