Strategy, Defence and Kicking Coach Omar Mouneimne previews England vs Australia and dives into how they set up their attacking play and smothering the opposition with great defensive work.
England use their big forwards to make smothering tackles driving ball carries backwards and return to play very quickly to keep the pressure on. On attack Mouneimne highlights the hard lines and accurate passing which gives the England outside backs space to run. The key is their shape once it has been recycled and the accuracy of their runners.
Not only do England use their backs and width but they are immensely powerful up front with their maul attack.
With Australia it is key to prevent them gaining momentum but mostly from keeping discipline in your defensive lines and preventing snipes, offloads etc where the Wallabies thrive on.
