Paarl Boys' High has locked in two major coaching signings for the upcoming rugby season.
The leadership reshuffle successfully resolves two vacanies that recently opened with the departure of Head Coach Sean Erasmus to Maties and Neil de Bruin to Blue Bulls.
George Earl officially takes the reins as the new First XV Head Coach. He has been a part of the Paarl Boys' High School family since 2022. He joined the first team's coaching setup in 2025 and brings a wealth of professional playing experience and a World Rugby Level 3 qualification to the top job.
Swys de Bruin anchors the department as the Head of Coaching. De Bruin served as head coach of the Springbok Women until August 2026. He brings decades of international rugby intellect to the school. He steps into the role previously held by his son, Neil de Bruin, who vacated the position at the end of 2025.
The school welcomes both appointments and wishes Mr Earle and Mr de Bruin every sucess with this new chapter in their careers.
