Performance of the Day - Sale Sharks

Sale Sharks ran out 34-30 winners today over Leicester Tigers in their Aviva Premiership clash at The AJ Bell Arena. It was a back and forth battle with the lead changing hands time and time again throughout. It was the sides 2nd win this season and their 200th win in the Premiership which takes them up to 5th in the league table.

They showed class in attack to score some marvellous tries, they also showed resilience in defence to survive a late onslaught from a determined Leicester Tiger's side. It was only the second time they've scored over 30 points in the league this season and today's result represents their third victory of the campaign. The Sharks scored four tries and Will Addison recorded 100% kicking success stats.

Mike Phillips ans Will Addison were two of Sale's key performes today. Sale will be looking to continue this excellent form going forward in the league as they look to push for a top four finish this year.
