Performers of the night
Ross Byrne

The young Leinster out-half was the man of the match in Leinster's thrashing of Dragons tonight. He showed great maturity throughout, dictating the tempo of the game with accurate, well-timed passing and beautifully judged territorial kicks. He was exceptional from the tee, scoring all five of his attempts, several of which from really difficult angles. He played a key role in many of his side's tries and was crucial in everything that was good about Leinster's attack.

The teenage winger earned the man of the match award for a brilliant display. He got on the end of an Anscombe break to score the winning try for Cardiff. Lane also had a great defensive performance and dealt well with any high balls kicked to him.
Henry Purdy
Purdy’s MOTM performance proved vital in Gloucester’s win. For Symons’ try, it was Purdy that brought play up to the 5m, after linking up very well with Burns on his run against the grain, cutting through Newcastle’s line with ease. The winger then claimed a try in spectacular fashion, using some great football skills to chip ahead of Newcastle’s line.
