Rugby World Cup-winning flanker and the 2019 World Player of the Year, Pieter-Steph du Toit has named the five players who he rates most highly at the moment.
The Stormers and South African forward appeared on World Rugby’s The Wrap, where he selected five players who he believes currently stand out above the rest.

Among his picks are just two 2021 British and Irish Lions squad members in Tom Curry and Alun Wyn Jones.
Du Toit picked out the English duo of Sam Underhill and Tom Curry who he last came up against in the 2019 Rugby World Cup final.
“They’re a really good combination playing for England and I definitely think they’re two players to watch out for in the future,” du Toit said.
His third pick was another back-rower as he named Ardie Savea saying the New Zealander “never backs down from any contact situation.”
The Stormers back rower also named British and Irish Lions captain Alun Wyn Jones saying: 'he's been a legend in the game for so long.' before adding that he is 'looking forward to seeing him playing for the Lions'
Du Toit's final pick went to his fellow Springbok teammate, Cheslin Kolbe.
“He's one of the greats of the game” - du Toit added.
