Piutau & Afoa ruled out until February
Bristol Bears have today confirmed that Charles Piutau and John Afoa will be sidelined through injury following the Premiership defeat to Leicester Tigers.
Prop Afoa sustained a rib injury and is expected to return by mid-February.
Full-back Piutau suffered an MCL injury and is expected to be unavailable until late February.
A high tackle from Jonny May broke the former All Black’s nose and then the England winger landed on him as Piutau looked to step which saw his knee buckle under up him.
