Munster, Ospreys and Harlequins all claimed wins in today's action in the PRO14 and Premiership.

Munster were emphatic scoring 8 tries to smash Edinburgh 44-14 while Ospreys served claimed a massive 43-0 win over Zebre in a record-breaking night for Alun-Wyn Jones.

Finally, Harlequins stunned Exeter Chiefs by ending their unbeaten start to the season claiming a narrow 28-26 victory.

Here are our top performers from the Friday's action:


 
James Chisholm:
 
 
Strong and powerful carries over the advantage line. Chisholm peeled off a maul to crash over for a try.
 
 
Alex Dombrandt:
 
 
The young forward put in a man of the match performance, working brilliantly with the likes of Chisholm, Merrick and Glynn.
 
 
The blindside flanker made 61 running metres beating 6 defenders and made two clean breaks.
 
 
 
 
Mike Brown: 
 
 
The Harlequins fullback will have sent a strong message to the England coaching staff with his performance.
 
 
 
He provided two assists on the night, one was a lovely offload to Nathan Earle from a scrum and the second was a well-weighted grubber for Joe Marchant to score.
 
 
He also made more running metres than any other player in the game and carried the ball 21 times.
 
 
 
 
David Ewers:
 
Ewers was emphatic on defence making all but one of his 25 attempted tackles. He got stuck in to the physical side of the game throughout the 80 minutes both on attack and on defence.
 
 
 
Luke Morgan - Ospreys 
 
 
Morgan chased kicks brilliantly throughout the game with one of the kicks helping him complete his hattrick.
 
 
He scored a fantastic try in the corner and looked threatening whenever he touched the ball.
 
 
He also finished the match with over 100 running metres.
 
 




Justin Tipuric - Ospreys
 
 
Tipuric brought his form with the test side back with him and was excellent in all facets of the game.
 
 
His work at the breakdown was extremely impressive as he stopped Zebre from getting in an attacking position on a number of occasions.
 


 

Sam Davies - Ospreys
 
 

 
Another commanding performance by the Ospreys' standoff in unfavourable conditions. He kicked well out of hand and off the tee.
 
 
 
He also tested the Zebre defence with some a mixture of intelligent passes.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Chris Farrell - Munster
 
 
The Munster centre was nothing short of exceptional in his return to the starting line up.
 
 
He scored 2 tries and putting a world class performance breaking from the back with countless line breaks, strong carries and was named as the man of the match.
 
 
 


Keith Earls - Munster
 
 
 
A 1st half hat trick for the Irish International who combined brilliantly and ran the right angles off the likes of Farrell and Haley.
 
 


 
 
Tadg Beirne - Munster


Beirne was a pillar at the breakdowns winning the important ball for his side at the breakdown.
 
 
He also claimed a few lineout steals and was strong with ball in hand.
 
 
 
Duhan van der Merwe - Edinburgh
 
 
 
The winger was starved of possession throughout the game but punished Munster on two occasions when he did get the ball.
 
 
He showed off his pace, power and finishing ability in the 21st minute when he brushed off Chris Cloete to score and did the same in 67th when he beat three defenders to score.
