Day 2 of the fourth round in the Champions Cup saw mammoth clashes with must win games for teams who wanted to to top their pools. Amongst those teams were Irish giants Leinster, who secured a hard fought 13-22 victory over Bayonne in France.

Leinster head coach Leo Cullen gave his verdict following his teams victory over Bayonne.

Leinster lock James Ryan reflected after a gritty away victory saying, "We're delighted... we knew we were going to have to work very hard to get the result".


After a win saw them knockout Irish outfit Munster, Castres secured a round of 16 play-off spot. Inside centre Jack Goodhue gave his thoughts after the game saying, "Definitely our best game of the season...For some reason tonight it all clicked".


Toulon secured a bonus point win over Gloucester Rugby, Italian international and man of the match Ignacio Brex shared his post-match reaction.

Toulon coach Andrea Masi expressed his delight after finally wnning on the road stating, "We struggled away from home the last few weeks, so we really wanted this performance"


It was an unfortunate result for Gloucester that saw the English side bow out in the pool stage. Head coach George Skivington gave his post match thoughts expressing disappointment.
