Premiership Highlights: Bath v Leicester Tigers

Bath claimed a 23-16 win over the Leicester Tigers in round 11 of the Premiership. Leicester got off to the perfect start with an early try, with Bath slotting a penalty midway through the first half to make it 7-3. Bath eventually made their territorial and possession dominance count as they crossed for two tries to take a 15-7 lead into the halftime break. Leicester drew fist blood in the second half, with a penalty closing the gap to just five points. However, Bath responded just a minute later with their third try to extend their advantage to 20-10 heading into the final quarter. With just over 10 minutes remaining Leicester reduced the deficit to seven points with a penalty, but Bath hit back with a penalty of their own a few minutes later to restore their ten point lead. Leicester once again made it a seven point ball game, with a penalty with four minutes to play setting up a tense finish. The comeback was not to be however as Bath held on for the home victory to move them up to 5th position in the table.
