Pro D2 Highlights: Carcassonne vs Bayonne (Round 9)

A strong second half performance from Carcassonne saw them run out 32-16 winners over Bayonne in round 9 of the French Pro D2. Each side crossed for a single first half try, with Bayonne slotting two penalties to one for a 13-10 lead at the break. An early second half Carcassonne penalty leveled the scores before they crossed for a try to lead 20-13. Bayonne pulled three points back with a penalty to reduce the deficit to four points, but Carcassonne cut loose to run in a further two tries to seal the home victory.
