PRO14 Round 9 Highlights: Southern Kings vs Scarlets

Scarlets ran out 34-30 victors over the Southern Kings in a really close game at The Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium. Both sides got off to flying starts, Scarlets scoring a try after just 6 minutes and the Kings firing back with two tries of their own to leave the halftime score at 16-10 in their favour. The Kings started the second half brightly but Scarlets managed to claw their way back and eventually build a four-point lead which they protected well despite some late pressure from the opposition. Disappointing result for the Southern Kings who are still without a win in the PRO14 this season but they can take some pride in their impressive performance today.
