PROD2 Highlights: Mont-de-Marsan vs Montauban

Mont-de-Marsan edged Montauban 17-12 in round 25 of the French Pro D2. Despite Montauban picking up a red card midway through the first half, each side kicked three successful penalties to see the score deadlocked at 9-9 at the break. An early second half penalty saw Mont-de-Marsan hit the front and they followed that up with the first try of the match soon after to build a 17-9 lead. Montauban pulled three points back to give themselves a chance, but the comeback was not to be as Mont-de-Marsan held on for the victory to leapfrog their opponents into second position in the standings.
