PROD2 Highlights: Montauban v Dax

Montauban moved level on log points with leaders Perpignan as they claimed a 30-20 home win over Dax in round 29 of the French Pro D2. The first half was a tight affair, with Montauban running in the only try to take a slender 8-6 lead into the break. Montauban started the second half strongly, crossing for two early tries and kicking a penalty to take control of the match at 25-6 heading into the final quarter. Another Montauban try all but wrapped up the match, but Dax would run in two late consolation scores to deny the hosts a bonus point.
