Reliving The Drama At Sixways As Worcester Down 11-Man Bath

It took 98 minutes for the Worcester Warriors to complete an incredible 21-19 comeback against 11-man Bath at Sixways on Saturday.

The visitors dominated the first half of the match and were able to get England international back Zach Mercer over the try line which put them 19-3 ahead at the break.

The game turned completely on its head in the second half and the momentum started to shift towards the home side. Warriors winger Bryce Heem scored his first try of the match after some fantastic backline handling and not long after Bath saw their replacement hooker Ross Batty sent off for a dangerous tackle at a ruck 16 minutes from time.

The Warriors grew with confidence as the match carried on and it produced an unbelievable finish which saw the visitors lose three players to the sin-binned for a number of scrum penalties.
