Rhys Patchell declared fit for Australia

Wales have confirmed Rhys Patchell is fit and available for selection to face Australia having gone through the concussion protocols.

The 25-year-old hasn’t played since taking a knock to the head in the PRO14 derby clash with the Ospreys earlier last month.

Wales forwards coach Robin McBryde also confirmed that Ellis Jenkins and Ken Owens are also fit to face Australia and added that the fitness of Samson Lee will be monitored ahead of Thursday's team announcement.
