Richie McCaw returns for the Crusaders on the bench

All Blacks skipper Richie McCaw will make his return to Super Rugby on Friday via the bench for the Crusaders Test against the Reds in Christchurch.

McCaw missed the Crusaders match against the Hurricanes last week after colliding with Blues' back Lolagi Visinia and receiving a nasty head knock.

Crusaders coach Todd Blackadder has made three changes to the starting line-up and added a few new faces to the bench.

Nepo Laulala will be pack down in the front row along with Codie Taylor and Wyatt Crockett.
