Rugby World Cup results according to World Rankings

If the latest World Rankings are anything to go by, Europe will have 5 teams in the Quarter Finals for the first time since 2003.

Ireland (2nd), Wales (3rd), England (4th), Scotland (6th) & France (8th) will all make the Quarter Finals in Japan next year.

The opening Quarter Final will be between England and Australia followed by New Zealand vs Scotland. Wales and France will then face off followed by Ireland and South Africa.

The Semi Finals will see three 6 Nations sides for the first time ever as England play New Zealand and Wales face Ireland with the final being contested between the All Blacks and Ireland on November 2, 2019 in Yokohama.
