Ryan Elias signs contract extension with Scarlets

Wales hooker Ryan Elias has signed an undisclosed-length contract extension to remain at Scarlets.

The academy product plied his trade with Carmarthen Quins and featured for Wales U20s before coming to the fore with the Scarlets senior side. 

Scarlets coach Wayne Pivac said: "Ryan has amassed a huge amount of experience at a very young age and at only 22 years of age has a very big future ahead of him in the game.

"We're looking forward to seeing his continued development."

Ryan won his two senior Wales caps on the 2017 summer tour wins against Tonga and Samoa.
