Saturday wrap up
In the only Pro 12 game of the day, a tense clash lacking in any great quality throughout saw the Scarlets scrape a hard-earned win against a Treviso who played like they had a point to prove following a poor couple of weekends in Europe. The Welsh side's number 8 Allen was prominent throughout and took both of his tries well to put his team into a comfortable lead. The home side fought back well to establish a one point lead but a booming penalty from sub Steve Shingler is the last couple of minutes gave the Scarlets a narrow lead which they fought well to hold onto and earn a good away win.

A very easy victory for Harlequins for the home side as they put London Irish to the sword by 31 points. The visitors never looked troubling only scoring in the 80th minute. Quins on the other hand take maximum points thanks to a hat-trick of tries by Tim Visser, who is in a fantastic run of form. Quins move into the top 4 with the win.

Leicester Tigers were the victors in the other 3 o'clock kick off of the day. A close game against Worcester Warriors which saw the away side record a 29-20 victory. Warriors took an early lead going 17-0 up in the first 20 minutes but the sending off of Donncha O'Callaghan early in the second half allowed Leicester back into the game, gaining the vital bonus point try in the final minutes of the game.

Bath and Northampton met in a tense game that left little to the imagination. The Saints pack prevailed winning some important scrums late on with Hanrahan sealing the win with a late penalty. The 13-11 defeat for Bath now pushes them further down the table with the Saints continuing to be a bogey team with their last win against Jim Mallinder's side almost five and a half years ago.

In the game of the day, Exeter took maximum points in Coventry as they beat Wasps by 41 points to 27. The Chiefs scored 4 tries in 30 minutes blowing away the home side. Wasps came back in the second half leveling the game but Exeter proved too strong scoring 2 unanswered tries in the last 15 minutes. Exeter's pack was absolutely outstanding and Wasps couldn't handle the power of Rob Baxter's side. The game was marred by a bad injury for Exeter centre Henry Slade, who has an expected broken leg.
