A tough loss to take for Scotland who clawed back into the game to level things up and ultimately fell to a blitz from the Springboks and left too much to do on tired legs at the end of the game

7. Rory Darge 7/10 | Good outing but Scotland needed a touch more

9.  Ben White 7/10 |  At the heart of a lot of the good things for Scotland

10. Finn Russell 6/10 | Important in todays game but clearly a touch rusty

14. Kyle Steyn 7/10 |  Did well with what he got and was stopped by two brilliant pieces of defence
