Johnny Sexton’s injury woes continue as the Leinster and Ireland captain will play no part in the upcoming Leinster vs Munster game on Saturday in the Rainbow Cup.
Sexton picked up yet another blow to the head against Exeter Chiefs last weekend and left the field, thereafter failing an HIA test. There is now no word regarding when he will be able to return to the pitch.
Leinster have released the following statement:
Johnny Sexton is unavailable for selection this week. Sexton entered the Graduated Return to Play Protocols after the Exeter game and is having further assessment and once complete and all information is to hand, a further update will be given."
