Sharks toughen up on foul play

Red cards will have a big impact on the earnings of Cell C Sharks players that are sent off following a decision made by the Board of the Sharks Directors this week.


Springboks Bismarck du Plessis, Frans Steyn and Jean Deysel are all off the field at present as they serve out suspensions handed to them after they were red carded in recent matches.



As per the previous agreement, those players are still drawing on their salaries even though they aren’t on the field, but that is to change going forward.
