Shute Shield Semi-Finals Confirmed

Sydney University, Warringah Rats, Southern Districts and Northern Suburbs all secured their spots in the NSW Shute Shield 1st Grade semi-finals this coming weekend.

Northern Suburbs beat Warringah 25-22 in a nailbiting match on Saturday at the North Sydney Oval. Depsite the defeat the Rats will still go through to the semis as the the bottom two teams were knocked out of contention.

Defending champions Eastwood were defeated by Sydney University 41-32.

Southern Districts overcame a seven point deficit against Ranwick to finish with a 29-26 win.

Below are the fixtures for the Grade Semi-Finals this weekend:

Saturday Grade Rugby - Sydney University No.2 Oval

10:15am: 4th Grade - Sydney University v Northern Suburbs

11:40am: 3rd Grade - Sydney University v Northern Suburbs

1:15pm: 2nd Grade - Eastern Suburbs v Eastwood

3:10pm: 1st Grade - Sydney University v Warringah

Sunday Grade Rugby – Forshaw Rugby Park

10:15am: 4th Grade - Eastern Suburbs v Eastwood

11:40am: 3rd Grade - Eastwood v Warringah

1:15pm: 2nd Grade - Randwick v Sydney University

3:10pm: 1st Grade - Southern Districts v Northern Suburbs
