Solomons confirms Worcester coaching set-up for 2018/19 season
Worcester Warriors Director of Rugby Alan Solomons has confirmed his coaching set-up for the 2018/19 season.

Solomons has brought in Rory Duncan from the Cheetahs and former Ulster Rugby coach Neil Doak to join Omar Mouneimne and Mefin Davies as part of Warriors’ five-man coaching team.

Duncan will be joining Warriors as Head Coach this summer after a season in the same role at the Cheetahs, where he has led his side to third position in the Pro 14 table after nine wins from their opening 17 games.

Doak, who will move to Warriors as Attack & Backs Coach, is another individual with exceptional credentials after over two decades as a player and coach with Ulster - an association which saw a three-year spell as Head Coach.

Defence & Kicking Strategy Coach Mouneimne started his role at Sixways in April last year and has played a significant part in making Warriors’ defence more resilient as the side has gone on to reduce their average tries and points conceded per match.

Meanwhile, Davies will become Warriors’ longest-serving coach in next season’s set-up as the Club’s Scrum & Assistant Forwards Coach.

The former Wales hooker joined the Club in 2014 and has been an influential member of the coaching team, helping to shape the careers of a string of Sixways youngsters.
